Has anyone here seen the Death Note LA movies?
They were really great...when I watched them for the first time, I didn't even know what Death Note WAS...but from the first few minutes, I was totally hooked.
Did you see them?

Death note is a story about a guy who finds a notebook of death and tries to make a perfect world with it, by killing criminals....and about the genius detective trying to stop him and bring him to justice.
It's a really cool story, so check it out.
If you see the anime or the movie first it's not really of much consequence, because they're different in lots of ways...(I saw the movie first).

...But I must wait until it becomes a weekly instead of new release so it isn't so expensive and limited to borrow =_=;;
